Getting Started! What do I need in order to complete my order?

I need a website. So what do I need before I can complete my order?

STEP 1 Get a domain name. Read Need a Domain Name? for more information.

STEP 2

Select your web host or shopping cart. View our list of approved web hosts & systems. These shopping cart systems enable you to add your own content, products and categories easily on your own. If you want us to set it all up for you please contact us after you have chosen and purchased a website template.

STEP 3 Choose your template. This is what makes your website look professional and pretty. Choose a template from our site, complete your order and we’ll do the installation for free if you’ve chosen one of our approved web hosts & systems. If you already use one of approved hosts or systems we’ll still install your template for free. 

If you do not use one of our approved hosts or approved shopping cart systems and want to remain on your current system we will email you a .ZIP file of your customized template for you or your webmaster to install on your own.

What about search engine optimization (SEO)?

Search engine optimization is extremely important for your business to make money online, successfully. All of our website templates are correctly coded for industry standard SEO techniques. We also provide you with a list of SEO-friendly website fonts on our font samples page where you can go and choose fonts that are readable by the search engines. Some of our templates have these fonts throughout (including the logo and tagline) but most use graphics for the logo and tagline, as well as other header (fancy-font) areas. Most of these areas will not detract from the optimization of your website.

All of our templates are designed and developed to work on the following browsers:

  4. Chrome

How does the order process work?

Once you have placed your order you will receive an email (within 24 hours) with a link to a project form. You may see more than one link depending on your order. Each link will go to a different form and we will require all forms completed prior to customization. This is where you can upload your images, your logo and add your customization information. Please fill this out promptly. We cannot begin your customizations until we have received these completed project forms.

If we have additional questions not answered in the questionnaire we will contact you by email first, then by phone.

Once we have your customizations complete will send you a link to your template or customized graphic within the allotted turnaround time. You must approve this before we can begin installation or before we send you completed files.

If you are using one of our approved hosts or systems we will begin installation upon approval of your template. If you are not using one of our approved systems we will send you a .ZIP file of your customized template by email and the order will be complete.

How long will it take?

*These times are approximations and may vary slightly depending on how many orders we have received that week. If there will be any delays you will be notified immediately.

Templates w/o modifications: Between 5-7 business* days from the time that we receive your questionnaire.
Templates w/ modifications: Between 5-7 business days* from the time that we receive your questionnaire.

What do I get with my template order?

All of our templates come with a website FavIcon and 4 web banners (of different sizes) for online advertising. In addition, when you choose one of our approved web hosts or shopping carts we will install your template for you for free.

What if I need changes later on, in the future?

Once we have installed your template, all additional modifications are done on a hourly maintenance rate of $50 / hour. You may purchase hourly maintanence on our template add-ons page.

Do you have a number I can call if I questions?

No. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a phone number you can call. It’s just not feasibly in our home-based business. However, we make it our priority to make sure we respond to all contact form inquiries in a timely, thorough manor. Please feel free to submit a call back request or general contact form on our contact page.

Can I use my own logo with one of your templates?

Yes. Usually we can add existing logos to website templates. There are no additional charges for this assuming that their are no graphic changes that need to be made. You can upload your logo inside the initial order questionnaire which you will receive once you have successfully completed your order. The file format for your logo is important. Please upload only logos of the following formats for best template quality: transparent .png, .psd, .ai, .pdf. We can sometimes accept .jpg or .gif files but it depends on the logo and on the template that you selected.

Can I use my own photos with one of your templates?

Yes. We recommend using your own photos in your template to make it look more like you. However, you can choose to use our samples photos as well. If you choose to use your own photos, you will have the option to upload your desired photos inside your customization questionnaire which you will receive once you have successfully completed your order. Each template has it’s own dimensions and as such the photos you provide will have to meet those dimensions. Please read your template specifications carefully and make sure that your photo meets your template's requirements.

Can I purchase a template that is retired or sold out?

No. We do not sell any templates once they have been retired or sold out. When you order a Limited Edition website template or a OOAK website template know that they are not oversold.

Can I use one of your templates with my own host/shopping cart?

You can use our website templates with any shopping cart or content management system, however unless you use one of our approved hosts or cart providers we do not guarantee that the template you select will work without further modification.

Unless you decide to use one of our approved hosts, you will have to format the template for you system and install it yourself.

If use one of your templates, will I be able to add products and make changes myself?

Yes. The template is merely the stuff that makes your site pretty. The shopping cart software or content management system that you choose will ultimately decide how easy or hard it is for you to manage your website. All of our approved carts and hosts have systems that are easy to use and navigate, even for the novice.

I like one of your templates but I want it in another color or font. Is that possible?

Yes. We regularly make these kinds of customizations for customers. If you want to change the color or font of your template you may add those seperately on our template add-ons page. These do have additional fees associated with them starting at just $7.

What payment types do you accept? Do you have payment plans or layaway?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover through PayPal as well as mailed-in checks. We do not offer payment plans or layaway plans for any of our products or services at this time.

Do you provide the .PSD design files for your templates?

No. We do not provide the .PSD or any other design files with your purchase or otherwise. Any files that you receive from us will be the HTML/CSS and image files for your template or marketing product.
